Now is the Time to Become an Internet Astronomer.

Times are tough which means some of things you like to do might have to go on the back burner for a while. To make sure that your enjoyment of astronomy isn't one of them, we have created our own "Astronomer's Stimulus Program". For a limited time, you can use any of the instruments in the LightBuckets Telescope Network at greatly reduced rates. You'll likely save over 50% over the normal price on any imaging plans that you run while the program is in effect. These reduced rates won't last so be sure to schedule some telescope time today. If you've always wanted to try LightBuckets, now is the time to do it.

The Astronomer's Stimulus Program ends March 31st, 2010!

How Does
LightBuckets Work?

LightBuckets Points

With LightBuckets, you pay for observatory time using points. Generally speaking, each point costs one-dollar. We use points as our currency because they are easier to manage on a day-to-day basis rather than dollars and cents. You can get additional discounts by buying points in bulk. At the highest bulk point purchase discount of ten percent, your effective cost of a point will be just ninety cents.
