Online astronomy is a fairly new idea, one that I believe we have taken to the next level. In order to understand what we're about and what you can do with LightBuckets, I encourage you to watch and read the information at the top of the Learn More page. You will also see that there are documents in PDF format that you can download for even more details about a particular subject. We have included a comprehensive FAQ in both a
downloadable document as well as a browser friendly version in our Support area.

Signing up for LightBuckets is quick and easy. Just click on the Join Today button at the upper right of the page. You will be asked a few simple questions. You will then be sent a confirmation email to verify your email address. The next time you visit LightBuckets, just enter your username and password (be sure to click the "remember me" check box so we automatically sign you in the next time you return). From there, you are all set to purchase points and start setting up your imaging runs.

As an incentive to get started imaging with LightBuckets right away, we are offering special launch pricing on points purchase with discounts up to 10% depending on the quantity of points you purchase. We've also set special launch rates on each of our observatories...ranging between 10-20% depending on the instrument.
